The Poplar Estates Homeowners Association (PEHA) is comprised of residents of the Poplar Estates neighborhood in west Germantown, Tennessee. The residents banded together with a shared vision to keep their neighborhood safe and to stay connected with their neighbors and city leaders.

Your $30 per year dues (free first year for new residents) supports the following annual activities for members:

  • Easter Egg Hunt in Poplar Estates Park
  • Neighborhood Yard Sale
  • Fourth of July Parade
  • Maintenance and Utilities of the Front Entrance

community impact

Becoming a member of the PEHA was a great way for us to meet our neighbors when we first moved here! We feel like a part of the community, made new friends, and know we're all looking out for each other to keep Poplar Estates safe.

Trey Alberson, whose family moved here from DeSoto County, Mississippi in 2019 for access to Houston High School, improved healthcare, and a shorter commute.

Committees

The PEHA has several committees that always need help - and provide a way for you to meet your neighbors and become more involved in the neighborhood! 

  • Communications Committee (social media, newsletters and our Web site)
  • Front Gate Committee (landscaping, installing holiday decorations)
  • Government Relations Committee (coordination of events with City of Germantown and Parks & Recreation)
  • Membership Committee (welcoming new residents)
  • Social Committee (coordinating and promoting our social events)
  • Yard of the Month Committee (selecting and documenting our Yard of the Month winners)
  • Garage Sale Committee (organize the annual garage sale)
  • Neighborhood Watch Committee (liaise with the Neighborhood Watch Group for Poplar Estates)
